What We Need:

An Experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team who will not only enjoy the fun culture of THS National but will contribute to it as well.

Position Summary:

The Construction Superintendent plans, directs and coordinates activities pertaining to the construction, renovation and maintenance of an assigned multi-family property in accordance with company policies, property documents and governmental regulations. Ultimately, the Construction Superintendents duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet The Highest Standard.

Essential Functions:

Works directly with Account Manager to ensure project details and scope are captured and delivered on-time and within budget

Establishes and develops subcontractor base; coordinate, schedule, and manage both vendors and subcontractors on multiple project sites

Identifies and resolves construction problems as they develop; keep project on schedule

Inspects property and units under construction on a regular basis to ensure the work conforms to specifications, budget and schedule and initiates any repair or replacement needs and/or adjustment of working procedures.

Regularly communicates with the project team regarding unit and property improvement status.

Anticipates project delays and navigate project schedule changes efficiently

Budget Integrity: maintains accurate time-keeping and cost records; Works closely with Project Coordinator to monitor subcontractor invoices

Mitigates potential change orders and back-charges that may affect project profitability and document them to the extent required

Reporting: Reviews weekly labor reports and monthly total job cost reports carefully to determine areas needing special attention

Complies with all jobsite reporting requirements, including daily reports and updates, weekly unit reports, and monthly updates to the construction schedule

Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite

Project Closeouts: Close out the project in compliance with the contract documents

Customer Satisfaction: Strives to satisfy the customer, subcontractor, vendor and company

Safety: Monitors safety planning, execution and documentation on assigned project.
