We currently have a need for an Accounts Receivable Clerk at our location in Hagerstown, MD. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. The Accounts Receivable Clerk performs duties within the Accounting Department. Essential Functions:
Manage and process all aspects of Accounts Receivable functions
Review all invoices for accuracy
Perform high volume of data entry
Responsible for contacting customers regarding overdue invoices
Complete all duties assigned accurately and efficiently with or without supervision
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Competencies:
Knowledge of Accounting Software is preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize
Demonstrated ability to use desktop software including MS Word and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience:
Experience working in the financial/accounting industry is preferred
Previous accounts receivable experience is a plus
