Please Note:

• It will be 100% remote until COVID.
  

• Identify performance improvement opportunities within the Java code base, prototype alternatives, and assist in implementing proven solutions.
  
• Create design documents for Java code that is currently written in IBM Assembler.
  
• Review code for thread safe, code quality, and security violations.
  
• Analyze/improve Spring Batch throughput
  

• Active existing IRS MBI Clearance Required
  
• Bachelors Degree or above preferred. More experience is required for non-degreed candidates.
  
• A minimum of 8 10 years collective developing applications in JAVA
  
• Hands-on experience with Spring Batch is a must have.
  
• Hands-on experience with JAVA8 is a must have.
  
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
  

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
  
• Excellent time management
