Cloud Software Engineer, Mid
Key Role:

Support daily operations foc us ed on building a next generation automated malware analysis system. Apply advanced consulting and te chn ical expertise and full ind us try knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Engage with multiple functional groups to comprehend client challenges, prototype new ideas and new te chn ologies, and help create solutions to drive the next wave of innovation. Interact with system administrators on the installation of sof tware applications, develop training materials and mentor junior team members, guide us ers in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, c ond uct feasibility studies as required, and estimate resource requirements for sof tware tasks.



Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with sof tware engineering, including requirements analysis, sof tware development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and providing resolutions
• 4+ years of experience in developing sof tware with Java and Python
• 3+ years of experience with developing sof tware to be deployed to UNIX/Linux operating systems us ing tools that include Ansible, Puppet, and Bash
• 2+ years of experience with sof tware integration and sof tware testing, including developing and implementing test plans and test scripts
• Experience with developing Restful services and the requirements analysis and design of object-oriented systems
• Experience with developing solutions integrating and extending FOSS/COTS products and te chn ical writing, including generating te chn ical documents in support of a sof tware development project
• Experience with deploying applications in a cloud environment, including Big-Data Cloud Scalability
• Ability to work with OpenSource including NoSQL products
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with the Map Reduce programming model and te chn ologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Pig
• Experience with designing and developing automated analytic sof tware, te chn iques, and algorithms
• Experience with developing and deploying data driven analytics
• Experience with documenting ontologies, data models, schemas, formats, data element dictionaries, sof tware application program interfaces, and other te chn ical specifications
• Experience with developing and deploying analytics in a heterogeneo us schema environment
• BA or BS degree is preferred
• Certified Hadoop or Cloud Developer is preferred
