• The deliverables for this effort are to deliver a working system in a development environment with:
• Migration from Solaris 10 to Linux Red Hat 8 OS
• Upgrade from Apache Tomcat 5.5.20 to version 10
• Upgrade Java to version 8
• Upgrade OJDBC, Jython, Apache Ant, PHP
• Upgrade any other required ancillary software to facilitate those upgrades
• System reporting/read-only functionality working fully in development environment with upgrades, connected to development database
• Documentation of steps to deploy these upgrades and connect upgraded system to database (for eventual production rollout)

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent professional work experience.
• At least 5 years experience in web application software engineering
• Demonstrable experience with: - Web site deployment and configuration
• Linux
• Apache Tomcat
• Java application development
• Python

• Demonstrable experience in: - Linux Red Hat 8 OS
• Apache Tomcat version 5.5.20 and version 10
• Performing Tomcat upgrades
• Jython
• Identifying and remediating web application security vulnerabilities
• OJDBC
