Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave; identify where systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Through passive evaluations such as compliance audits and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments.
You will be a part of a team that adheres to strict program control processes to mitigate risks, supports certification and accreditation of systems, and maintains continuous monitoring of system operations. You will be required to support cyber processes and assist in coordination for security certification. Develop security documentation, as well as participate in investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections, and regular audits. Duties include assisting in the implementation of the required government policy (JSIG), participate in and document process activities.
Assist in analyses to validate established security requirements and provide recommendations for additional security requirements and safeguards. Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, and preparation of required reports. Perform Continuous Monitoring (CONMON) activities throughout the lifecycle of the system.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 0 years of experience with a relevant Master's Degree OR 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of experience with an Associate's Degree OR 6 years of experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Must have an Active, in-scope Secret Security Clearance
  • Must have a DoD 8570 IAM I certification (Example: Security+ CE)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • JSIG knowledge/experience
  • RMF knowledge/experience
  • NIST 800-53 knowledge/experience
