Job assignments will include developing processes for client and operational reporting, data migration, operational automation and measuring and enhancing data quality. The SQL Server Developer will also assist in the design, development and implementation of the enterprise reporting architecture and will provide SQL Server expertise to other areas of the organization.Description
Design, develop and deploy reporting and/or analytics solutions per the requirements of external and internal clients, utilizing technologies such as SQL Server Data Tools, Power BI and Excel
Create ad hoc queries or reports to address critical business needs
Design, develop and maintain database objects such as the tables, views and stored procedures needed to support the reporting and/or analytics solutions
Analyze data to understand gaps, inconsistencies and other quality issues, and devise data quality improvement solutions
Design and implement ETL components of data warehouse including data quality control reports and balancing reports from source system to data warehouse
Analyze and remedy database and query performance issues
Automate recurring processes with appropriate monitoring controls
Define and maintain standards for data architecture, data governance, data integrity, data access, and data security
Design and implement solutions for data migration activities from the different source system to the new target system
Produce comprehensive documentation for all solutions developed
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
Experience in managed health care environment is preferred
Skills Required:

SQL Server OLTP transaction processing
Accuracy, attention to details
Experience in reporting toolsets, job scheduling, publishing and distribution of reports

Excellent analytical, problem resolution and people skills
Ability to deliver quality results under tight deadlines

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficiency with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Power BI, Crystal Reports, PowerShell scripting a plus
