Our client is seeking an Accessibility Specialist to provide information and communication (ICT) expertise about Section 504, Section 508, and WCAG 2.0/2.1 accessibility requirements, reporting to the Section 508 Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be able to work on multiple and diverse projects simultaneously.

responsibilities:


Write audio/video descriptions, write alternative text for complex charts, equations, and images, and create table summaries for digital products, including social media


  • Keep current with Federal, State, and other accessibility requirements and update existing corporate accessibility resources.
  • Devise creative solutions to complex accessibility challenges and provide clear guidance on implementation.
  • Develop training materials, organize brown bags, and workshops, and support staff accessibility training.
  • Code 508-compliant HTML using tools such as Dreamweaver.
