ASSYST is seeking a Contracts Analyst for our client to assist with negotiations and contract development to include, contract language, proposal abstracts, clauses for services, products, and contractual/pricing agreements. The analyst will be responsible for reviewing telecom contracts to include services, software, hardware, and professional services, to ensure contracts and costs/benefits align with commitments made through the vendor selection process and with the business case. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Negotiate for the lowest, most competitive rates available based on independent benchmarking
Review, analyze and recommend potential contract vehicles terms, conditions, and
pricing for the optimal solution for the County’s needs
Secure flexible terms to allow future modifications without penalty
Review and analyze potential issues and concerns that may be unfamiliar to many nonsubject matter experts, like daily oversight, minimum use requirements, tariff and pricing terms and conditions, and pricing differentials
Help negotiate and procure the highest Service Level Agreement (SLA) to reduce downtime
Conduct extensive research of options to determine the best solution
Customize contracts to mitigate future risk and exposure
Ensure the solution will work well with future industry changes
Streamline process and bypass carrier delays and ensure deadlines are met
