ResponsibilitiesCandidate would join the development team for the Tracking and Communications Group. This group develops specialized tracking devices and communications products for government, military, and commercial customers. The person in this role would develop software including web-based GUIs, Windows GUIs, and mobile applications to interact with and display data from our tracking devices.QualificationsRequired :
Must be willing and able to obtain a security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Minimum of 11+ years of experience writing software.
Fluent in writing Java code.
Experience in server-side development using Spring Framework.
Works well as a part of a team.
Good problem solving skills.
Quick learner.
Basic skills in Microsoft Office software products.
Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred :
Experience in developing graphical user interfaces, including web-based applications.
Experience visualizing large amounts of data in a web browser using graphs, tables, etc.
Experience with other high level programming languages such as C, C#, Javascript, Python, etc.
Experience in server-side development using other frameworks such as ASP.NET, Java EE, Ruby on Rails, Django.
Experience with databases such as MSSQL, SQLite, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.
Experience designing and implementing RESTful JSON-based APIs.
Experience in client-side development and designing responsive user interfaces using HTML/CSS/Javascript.
Experience in client-side Javascript frameworks such as AngularJS, React, Ember, etc.
Working knowledge of human factors and human-computer-interactions.
Experience managing virtual servers using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Experience with multiple operating systems (in particular Windows and various flavors of Linux).
Experience in server and/or client-side unit testing.
Experience in designing and conducting Usability Tests.
ClearanceThis position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Clearance processing will be completed by the U.S. Government. Factors considered for a U.S. Government Security Clearance include but are not limited:
