Manage the day to day operations. Manages, directs and coordinates plant operations. Ensures achievement of company objectives by delegating authority to key supervisors in production, production control, methods, maintenance and other related operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most effective return on assets.
Initiative plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and capital. Assure attainment of business objectives and production schedules which insuring product standards/production goals that will exceed our quota.
Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction, both on a manufacturing and material management basis.
Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes. Schedule stability that allows for maximum return on efficiencies.
Manage departments by establishing monthly/weekly/quarterly performance goals allocating resources, assessing annual performance, and determining individual merit, incentive and/or promotional increases in support of company goals
Demonstrate continual focus on improvements and enhancements.
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Work in safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the employees and the environment
Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with latest production and production management concepts
Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage and near misses to their supervisor.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering or a management related field.
Previous experience in supervisory responsibilities is required.
Must be able to prioritize and complete multiple and diverse work assignments with minimal direction and supervisor.
Must have excellent communications, presentation and persuasion skills.
Must have good computer skills using Microsoft applications or equivalent.
Must have a high Mathematical aptitude.
High energy level required.
Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pm
