Construction Manager is seeking experienced Project Manager(s) with proven work history in project management, quality control inspection, estimating, or superintending. Experience in government contracting for a Job Order Contract (JOC) a plus. Position will be located at Joint Base Andrews and/or Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The contract is a broad range of maintenance and repair work, and a wide variety of minor construction projects.
Applicants must have construction experience, government work history a plus. Conceptual, hard bid and unit/line item estimating skills, pre-construction, value engineering, and project management services must be performed. Projects will be a combination of new construction and remodels. Applicants should have a proven record in this industry, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision and training. Applicant will work as part of a team to complete projects in a timely manner.
Degree: Bachelor degree preferred and 5+ years’ experience with a general contractor, supervising and or estimating multiple projects in the $25k-$1 million range. Experience and previous interaction with local subcontractors is preferred.
USACE QCM certification, 30 Hr OSHA certification, First Aid, CPR, all preferred.
