Trusted Touch Assisted Living House is seeking a compassionate and experienced Live-In Caregiver to join our team in Silver Spring, Maryland. We are a newly opened assisted living home with six residents, dedicated to providing exceptional, person-centered care to seniors in a warm, home-like environment.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in an assisted living or group home setting, hold a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification, and be CPR certified. This is a live-in position for a caregiver ready to make a positive difference and start immediately.
Responsibilities
Provide personalized daily care and companionship to elderly residents.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Administer and document medications accurately as a Certified Medication Technician.
Support residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and chronic health conditions with compassion and patience.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment, including light housekeeping and laundry.
Monitor residents for any changes in condition and promptly report concerns to supervisory staff.
Uphold residents’ dignity, privacy, and confidentiality always.
Foster positive communication with residents, families, and coworkers.
Qualifications
Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification (required).
CPR certification (required).
Minimum 3 year of experience in a group home or assisted living facility.
I.T skills required
CNA and Assisted Living manager certificates are an added advantage.
Compassionate, dependable, and patient demeanor.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to start immediately.
