for animal feeds and pet foods, is looking for a Quality professional with leadership
and mentoring ability to join their team in one of the most beautiful spots
on Marylands eastern shore.
When
you step into the position of Quality Assurance Manager at
Valley Proteins Inc.s plant in Linkwood, Maryland, you
will be joining a team of industry professionals that share your passion for
quality. In this key role you will have responsibility for the supervision and
mentoring a team of Quality Assurance Technicians focused on fostering continuous
quality improvement.

to recycle useful by-products that would normally go into the landfill by
converting them into valuable finished products that our customers need.
If
you have the following, we want to hear from you:
BA/BS degree in technical or science related field
At least 5 years of experience in the feed/food industry
3-5 years of Quality Assurance Management experience
Competency
with 21 CFR Part 507 or 117, Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis
and Risk-Based Preventive Controls for Food for Animals
PCQI
training for Animal Food desired.
Demonstration
of successful implementation of food safety and quality programs.
Experience
with the development and use of Food Safety Plans and HACCP Programs.
Experience
in writing Quality related procedures, protocols, and manuals.
