Our busy filter company is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders for accuracy prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn. Position is situated in a warehouse and vehicle. Position requires daily travel on general public roadways which could include interstate travels
Delivery Driver Responsibilities
Conduct daily inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
Pull and load products onto trucks according to companys specifications
Match size and quantity amount against invoice for each customer.
Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
Complete and submit daily time schedule report
Maintain ongoing communication with the office
Unload goods as per client specifications with no damage
Review deliveries with customers to ensure order sizes and amount is correct
Obtain signature/delivery confirmations from each customer
Maintaining a clean vehicle. (Inside/Out)
Follow all State and Federal laws /Rules and regulations while in company vehicle
Maintain confidentiality of all confidential information
Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within scope
Delivery Driver skills
No CDL Needed
Must have a DOT Physical
Must have clean driving record
Must provide a copy of driving record
Must be able to drive 22ft box truck
Must be able to follow a GPS or read a map.
Minimum 2 years experience as a Delivery Driver
Ability to pass company driving test, background check and drug test
Strong customer service skills
Must possess a positive and professional demeanor/attitude
Schedule: Mon- Fri 8am 4:30pm (some Saturdays)
