Assists Executive Chef in training new associates and mentoring all production associates including cooks and utility workers. Answers, advises, or asks questions, and solves problems presented by other production associates.Quality checks all completed production; tastes all menu items, ensuring that they meet standards for appearance, texture, taste, temperature, and overall quality. Ensures all puree meals are served at the appropriate consistency. Assists with all food production. Follows all recipes accurately and communicates with the Executive Chef regularly with missing items or inaccuracy.Assists Executive Chef in menu planning, ordering & inventory, planning special events & catering, and other operational tasks.
