What You'll Do
As an Engineering Technician,you'll be part of our Global Tools & Storage team located in Towson, MD. You'll get to:

  • Support ElectronicsEngineering Innovation projects
  • Prototype/assemble/test electronic controls and circuit boards
  • Perform thermal testing of electronic assemblies
  • Graph and provide basic analysis of test data
  • Document new test procedures; follow and report test plan results.
  • Utilize available resources effectively
  • Effectively communicate status of active programs

Who You Are

  • Associate Degree in Technical Field required
  • 1-5 years' experience in Electronics Technician or related position required
  • Must have experience with Printed CircuitBoard (PCB) assembly
  • Must be able to read and interpretdesigns/schematics
  • Must be able to read schematics and troubleshoot problems
  • Must be proficient with multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes (digital/multi-channel)
  • Must have data analysis and graphing test data experience
  • Understanding of power tools, motor drives, controllers, and general mechanical principles a plus
  • Must have experience with surface mount soldering, electronics prototyping, and basic failure analysis
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel spreadsheets
