Job Description

We are looking for a data-driven and creative digital marketer to play a critical role in driving Alertus’ rapid growth. The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for managing and growing our digital presence as well as supporting overall marketing campaigns through building digital assets such as landing pages, and tracking performance through reporting and analysis.

This is a self-driven role where expertise in digital marketing is key to building a strong pipeline of inbound leads through digital channels. Our ideal candidate has a keen understanding of digital marketing best practices and processes, and constantly seeks out ways to improve the performances of website(s), social media channels, paid media programs and other digital marketing initiatives.

A Day in the Life:

  • Own Alertus’ digital marketing channels including website, social media, paid media, and others

  • Develop a high performing and cost-effective Google Ads program

  • Own web content management of the Alertus website, including written and creative content, including maintaining site organization, metadata, and SEO, as well as overall functionality and troubleshooting

  • Planning and implementing digital marketing campaign to develop audiences, drive engagement, increase sales, and derive audience insights

  • Create and promote webinars and related registration landing pages

  • Collaborate with marketing content team to develop and produce content for website include new webpages, blog posts, and more

  • Support email campaign program as needed, including building lists, forms, landing pages and more using marketing automation tools

  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and insights into marketing activities and campaigns

  • Build marketing campaigns in Salesforce and Pardot

What You'll Need:

  • BA/BS in a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience

  • Hands-on experience and expertise in digital marketing, marketing automation and B2B marketing tactics

  • Experience developing supporting content for web in collaboration with copywriters (landing pages, website content, ads, etc.) and email campaigns

  • A solid understanding and experience building ads and campaigns in Google Ads

  • Understanding how to gain data and insights from Google Analytics and turn it into actionable steps to improve website performance

  • Google Ads campaigns (Paid Search, Display, etc.)

  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices (link building, content strategy, keyword research) and experience using tools such as SEMRush or ScreamingFrog

  • Experience using email automation platforms, such as Pardot and Marketo, and client relationship management platforms, such as Salesforce

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to drive projects to completion

  • HTML/CSS knowledge
