Fireside Pizza and Catering is a fast-paced mobile food truck and trailer specializing in wood fire brick oven pizza.
Location: The work location is determined by the event - we travel all around. Must have a valid drivers license
Hours: 20- 30 hours per week. Must be available days and evenings. Weekends are a must!
Experience: Prior restaurant experience needed - must have references
Pay Rate: Negotiable depending on experience
Responsibilities: Calculate and load the mobile unit with relevant product and supplies that will be used that day. Monitor inventory and prepare weekly food orders. Unload and clean the mobile unit after every event. Stretch, prep, cook, cut, box and expedite the wood fire pizza at a very fast moving pace.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Critical thinking and able to take initiative to resolve challenges
Basic knowledge of food allergies, cross contamination, dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, and pescatarian. (ServSafe)
Proficient with a variety of knife skills and cooking techniques
Openness to learning and growing
Act in a highly professional manner and understand that honesty and ethics are essential
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds. Additionally, be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time in potentially hot temperatures depending on the weather
