Job Description summary:
Candidate will primarily be responsible for (but not limited to) clean-up, as needed around the plant area. They will also grease bearings and other components throughout the plant as dictated by our maintenance schedule. Certain pre-shift and operational forms will be filled out on a daily basis. Candidate will report to the plant foreman and assist with plant maintenance and other tasks when needed.
Follow and perpetuate safe work practices and ensure others do too
Always wear proper PPE and ensure others do too
Maintain a clean workplace
Dependable and punctual attendance is mandatory
Positive/helpful attitude is required
Willing to support facility in a multitude of job functions (clean-up, grease, perform minor maintenance, etc.)
Willing to work overtime, weekends, or shift work as required
Be a team player and handle high pressure situations
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Develop and maintain relationship with maintenance, production, and shipping personnel
Valid drivers license with good driving record
Able to lift and carry 40 lbs often, climb ladders and steps
Perform effective pre-shift inspection of equipment to note any safety or mechanical deficiencies and down the equipment as necessary
