We are recruiting for a full-time Residential Painter to join our team in Hagerstown, MD for The Apartment Gallery at Woodbridge and Brandywine Apartments and Townhomes. These properties total 574 units. This position requires experience with residential painting.
Position Summary
In this critical role for the residential community, you will prepare vacant or occupied units prior to painting (i.e., remove nails/hooks and fill holes, caulk trim and molding, repair sheet-rock damage / tape seams and remove switch plate covers, door knobs, light fixtures, etc. Additionally, tape off and cover all areas not to be painted in order to prevent over-spray. Further preparations may be required based on the condition of the unit); Apply paint (latex or oil) with brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other standard equipment to walls, ceilings, doors, baseboards, molding, porches, garages, and other surfaces; operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment, including brushes, rollers and sprayers. Safely store and label all materials, supplies and equipment. Erect work platforms as necessary in a manner consistent with proper safety procedures; Clean up all painted areas after completion.
Minimum Requirements
Be able to perform essential physical qualifications and possess the ability to work long/flexible hours in inclement weather and emergency situations. Must be able to prioritize/schedule work assignments according to the property needs and ensure an outstanding level of customer service.
Residential Painting experience sought for this position.
A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation are all conditions of employment.
