Friends of the Arava Institute helps fund climate change initiatives and environmental sustainability while building bridges toward conflict resolution and peace in the Middle East. We’re looking for a full time financial accountant who wants to gain hands-on experience across the accounting and financial disciplines. Please contact us if you have 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience and enjoy the challenge of finding solutions to accounting, finance, and spreadsheet problems in a fast-paced environment.
Working with the Director of Finance and Administration, you’ll be responsible for all general ledger functions from recording transactions to reconciliations and report preparation. You’ll help upgrade our systems and procedures in support of our strategic growth plan. Quickbooks and not-for-profit accounting experience will help you get up to speed more quickly.
