Senior Accountant Job Description
Due to the rapid growth of our business, we are seeking an experienced senior staff. The ideal
candidate should have 3-5 year experience in public accounting firms with a bachelor's
degree in accounting. Senior tax accountants should have strong skill sets in using Microsoft
applications such as Excel, Quickbooks, database applications and tax preparation software.
Candidate should also have solid verbal and writing communication skills, be able to lead
intern and staff, have good organizational and analytical skills, and be able to work
independently and possess the ability to take responsibility for the completion of assignments.
Candidate should also have good working attitude. The working hours will be between 18-20
hrs per week. During the busy tax season, working hours might increase.
Detailed job responsibilities:
ï· Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules.
ï· Experienced with Profx in the following areas:
ï· Preparation of Individual tax returns C-Corp, S-Corp, LLC, Partnership, and
multi-state entities.
ï· Minimizing tax liability through sound and informed application of laws and
regulations.
ï· Understand and document tax files theoretical and conceptual areas such as
materiality and inter-relationships of accounts or applicable tax law, regulations,
rulings, etc (tax ).
ï· Perform tax research in an assigned area or determine applicable tax law or
alternatives in a given factual situation.
ï· Supervising accounting staffs.
ï· Bilingual in English and Chinese Mandarin required.
