Founded in 2006, Mechanic Advisor began as a simple directory for drivers to find a local mechanic. Fast forward to today, MechanicAdvisor has launched a complete Customer Relationship Management (CRM) suite, complete with text messaging, direct mail, email automation, appointment reminders, declined services, and many other features. For the driver, we offer both Android and iOS mobile applications, that connect to our custom OBD2 device via Bluetooth, and send mission-critical vehicle data back to your mechanic.

The position:

As part of our Customer Success Team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining post-sales relationships with Mechanic Advisors customers. You will serve as a Technical Account Manager to ensure our clients are successfully on-boarded into the Mechanic Advisor platform. Part of the on-boarding process will include accessing a clients computer and shop management database to create a connection between the shops existing software and the Mechanic Advisor platform. This task will require knowledge of Windows Systems and Windows database structures. Additionally, you will also be responsible for assisting the client with the initial setup of the Mechanic Advisor platform. This includes, but is not limited to; email campaigns, text message campaigns, direct mail campaigns, and review request setup.

Key Responsibilities

On-board new customers and ensure that their existing software properly syncs with the Mechanic Advisor platform.

Function as main point-of-contact for auto shops using the MechanicAdvisor CRM platform.

Gather and maintain current information on the customer needs, initiatives, shop management software, and issues they have experienced.

Handle integration issues arising between the MechanicAdvisor CRM system, and the underlying shop management system/database.

Design and develop marketing initiatives within the MechanicAdvisor CRM suite, including email, direct mail, text messaging, and review requests.

Leverage tools including LogMeIn, Join.Me, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and Slack to deliver an excellent end-user experience.

Periodically provide specific account detail to sales and other support team members in weekly meetings.

Key Qualifications:

BA/BS degree

1-5 years experience minimum in customer-facing position as a technical account manager, client manager, professional services consultant, or sales engineer

Strong understanding of Windows Systems and databases.

Tenacious and entrepreneurial approach to working through product, process, and client challenges

Strong analytical skills regarding technical and project management issues

Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships with external parties

Ability to work in a fast-paced and unstructured work environment

High attention to detail
