The Assistant Dog Walker is responsible for providing dog walking services for clients and to ensure maintenance of a healthy and safe environment for the animals, to provide dependable and positive customer experiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide dog walking services for a list of clients as directed by management.
Provide opportunities for the dogs to exercise and socialize with other client's pets.
Ensure dogs are provided a safe environment at all times.
Create client trust with regards to the care of their beloved pets and the security of their homes.
Maintain even-tempered and friendly group atmosphere
Maintain records of walks and provide information for billing purposes.
Addressing and problem solving client concerns and comments
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Love Dogs!! Experience preferred (either personal or professional) with animal care.
Be highly detail-oriented and have the ability to stay on schedule and get from visit to visit in a timely manner.
Be reliable, trustworthy, and honest, and bondable; be able to pass a background check
Be available to approximately 10 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Please be willing to commit to at least six months, as our dogs and clients get very attached to their walker!
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Reliable car, e-mail, and cell-phone are a MUST.
This is a part-time position. You need to have love for being with dogs. You will be working outside, within parks and trails, in all weather. The proper clothing and footwear will help but ultimately you have to really enjoy the outdoors!
