Company Description:
We are a new company whose mission is to enable the elderly through the power of technology. We offer our clients remote personalized tech coaching and support on a variety of computer, internet and phone topics. We are seeking part-time (10-15 hours per month initially) ‘ElderConnectors’ to be our front-line technology coaches.
Primary Duties:
Content module creation (optional work for Subject Matter Experts)
4-8 hour initial training (unpaid)
Video-chat tech coaching and support with elderly
Initial ‘Introduction’ Session(s) for 1-2 hrs
Responsible to sell (and execute) the ongoing Personalized Learning Plan
Requirements:
Friendly and sociable personality
Must be patient (especially with older people)
Must have an affinity in working with the elderly
Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
Preferably located in greater-Boston area
Must be pretty comfortable with common computer, phone and internet technology and applications (can be room for learning) including videochat, social media, email, etc.
Must own a smartphone and computer newer than 2016
Must have a ‘home office’ suitable for work (live video)
Must be resourceful and a fast learner
Must be able to adapt to new, yet simple, challenges and opportunities we give you.
