Solar project manager position at an established, pioneering solar engineering firm located in Harvard Ma.
Applicant must have 3 years relevant commercial/industrial solar experience and have a degree in either electrical or mechanical engineering.
Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts with clients, work with architects, developers, financiers, and municipal authorities. Manage engineering staff schedule and workloads. Occasional site visits required.
Should have familiarity with Microsoft office, PV Syst, PV Watts, Helioscope, ArchiCad, Energy Tool Base,
NABCEP certified and OSHA 10/30 recommended;
Familiarity with NEC, Mass Building Code 9th edition and amendments/IBC and NFPA recommended
Ability to multi task and manage staff time efficiently required
Ability to travel occasionally to site visits throughout the Northeast, required
Ability to work in the office space in Harvard, MA (non remote work) required
Ability to communicate clearly and frequently with clients about complex design and engineering issues, problems and solutions
Must have a strong desire to develop a career in the renewable energy field
