TheAudio Visual Specialist II will be responsible for:

• Repairingand maintainingaudio-visual equipment and coordinating vendor service calls
• Settingup audio-visual equipment including in various settings including conference rooms, auditoriums and classrooms.
• Investigating, evaluatingand testing new audio-visual technologies for deployment within the institution.
• Providingend-user training and education on the use of audio-visual technologies including web-based conferencing tools.
• Promptly triaging and resolving Helpdesk tickets directed to the AV department.
• Administration and support of the Zoom conferencing platform, including webinars, events and user meetings. Provide Zoom video conferencing support for our virtual visit platform.
• Digital signage problem solving within the hospital environment.
• Monitoring, maintainingand script programming on Castus content server systems.
• Assisting with the management and maintenance of in-house TV network infrastructure and Ryan Seacrest Studio.
• Effectively communicating within the audio video team on the status of all project, repair and support activities.
• Organization and management of equipment inventory and spares stock, post-production editing and other services.
• This position will require for you to be onsite

To qualify, you must have:

• 3+ years' experience in audio visual system support - CTS a plus
• Experience with audio production and sound reinforcement fundamentals desired
• Skillsin the setup and operation of a wide variety of audiovisual equipment including displays, control processing, audio/video switching, audio mixing/tuning
• Experience troubleshooting and configuring AV devices on Windows and MacOS computers.
• Solid experience with various streaming media and digital media formats, encoding, transcoding including Castus, Zoom and other platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to effectively document AV systems and create user training materials using tools such as Visio, Revu, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Strong customer service experience and interpersonal skills.
