The Boston Marketing Lead is responsible for supporting the coordination and delivery of marketing activities for the Geography Marketing Manager. The role will be a key support in the delivery of the marketing plan and therefore a vital coordinator across all marketing teams and functions.The position focuses on delivering innovative programs supporting the markets and managing and measuring the effectiveness of all marketing activities.Note that visa employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.The RoleThe role of Marketing in Willis Towers Watson is two-fold: to support the company's growth and revenue goals and to protect and promote a consistent global brand. As trusted business advisers, the marketing group functions as an integrated global team providing comprehensive marketing support to all business segments and regions through well planned and executed marketing campaigns.In this position, you will be a member of the geography marketing team located in the Boston/New England marketplace.Successful candidates must demonstrate business acumen, relevant experience with core marketing strategy and execution, excellent project management, communication and team skills. Event execution is a must.ResponsibilitiesPerformance Objectives:Marketing Delivery:

Key support to the Marketing/Campaign Manager in the delivery of the marketing plan and all its elements and tactics within agreed timelines and budgets.

Coordinate and liaise with geography and global marketing colleagues including the CoE’s (Communications, Design, PR, Digital and Research/Analytics) as required to deliver campaigns and programs

Support the Marketing/Campaign Manager with the delivery of client events.

Liaise with the Geography Event Teams for brand and process alignment. Liaise with the CoE Communication Teams to ensure appropriate advertising of the event on our Intranet, Internet and social media tools. Liaise with local Line of Business (LOB) administrator as appropriate

Manage the [LOB/Campaign] marketing mailing activity and ensure appropriate use of the marketing CRM tool by ensuring contact details are up-to-date, accurate and relevant

Actively support stakeholders during project execution and deliver to their needs, with a sense of urgency and accountability

Building Relationships:

Develop good working relationships and work closely with other members of the marketing team to ensure consistency of approach to marketing activities and to share new ideas and best practices

Develop and maintain good relationships with key individuals within the [LOB/Campaign] by understanding their business issues and providing proactive advice

Business awareness:

Develop and maintain a good understanding of the products, services and solutions that the [LOB/Campaign] offers to clients

Other:

Offer assistance and accept help from colleagues to accomplish marketing activities and priorities

Develop and maintain a good understanding of the full range of products, services and solutions that Willis Towers Watson offer to clients as well as the different markets and buyer hubs that exist

Operate within Willis Towers Watson agreed policies, procedures and core values, demonstrating a consistent and corporate approach.

The Coordinator will have a general understanding across all areas of the business

Requirements

Ideally hold Bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in marketing or equivalent.

Experience of working within a consultancy environment would be an advantage

Relevant marketing experience is essential, ideally gained within a professional services or a B2B environment.

Experience prioritizing work; demonstrated project management skills, successfully managed multiple projects, produced quality deliverables on time and within budget

Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build strong partnerships at all levels

Flexible worker with the ability to self-direct tactical responsibilities

Synthesizes direction, navigates ambiguity and prioritizes actions from a variety of stakeholders

Works efficiently and effectively under pressure in an environment of continuous improvement

Diligent listening skills and succinct, focused written and verbal communication skills

A strong focus on detail and accuracy of work

Collaboration skills and ability to work across geographies with virtual teammates
