2020 Class Of Business Development Consultant – IU – SummerPreferred QualificationsAsa Business Development Consultant youwill participate in a multiyear development program focused on building yourfoundational sales skills and mastering those skills to enable progression toadvanced (or senior) sales positions. Your initial training program consists ofa multi-week, comprehensive Oracle sales training where new hires begin tolearn consultative selling skills and Oracle solutions . This serves asthe base of new hire learning and provides new reps with the tools to make aninstant impact as part of a highly collaborative sales team. As part of Oracle Class Of, you will be a strategicmember of the broader Oracle sales team and may be supporting pre-sale orpost-sale cycles. In some cases, you may act as the first contact for Oracle’sbusiness prospects. Your responsibilities may include any of thefollowing: generate demand for Oracle solutions through social selling andoutbound cold calling, qualify Oracle prospects, produce quality leads for theOracle Sales Team, and identify/drive product expansion opportunities via highvalue relationships with existing customers.Your Responsibilities:

Collaborate with

the virtual sales team on account strategy, demand generation activities, andresults

Build sales pipeline using social selling, and

cold calling methodologies

Ensure all data is properly maintained and

updated in the Oracle CRM application

Coordinate sales efforts with both Inside and

Field Sales reps

Gain in-depth knowledge of Oracle products and

technologies, territories, accounts, competitors, industry trends, etc.

Drive high customer satisfaction and

references by ensuring customer is receiving value from their Cloud services

Develop good

customer relationships to identify and drive product expansion/up sellopportunities as well as service renewalsPreferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

with a GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred

0-1 years work

experience

Able to

demonstrate time management, basic telesales skills, knowledge of Oracleproducts and services (training provided)

Goal oriented

individual with superior communication skills

Able to complete

individual goals as well as work in a team environment

Demonstrated

ability to communicate using technical concepts

Working knowledge

of Oracle products a plus but not necessary
