Working with the UNIX/DBD/Application administration teams to provide day-to-day, and on-call support for AIM's MongoDB databases.

Configuration and maintenance of successful backups for MongoDB databases.

Defining MongoDB databases architecture, hardware requirements, installation and configuration.

Creating documentation of activities, system changes, procedures, policies and standards for the MongoDB databases architecture.

Providing direct support to DBD and Application teams.

Assisting DBD teams to effectively use the computing infrastructure in accordance with corporate standards.

Developing custom scripts to automate MongoDB databases management.

Requires a BA/BS degree in related field; 7 years of data management experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Data modeling experience required.The successful candidate will have:

BA/BS degree; 5 - 7 years of DBA experience in a medium to large database server footprint. Minimum 3 years of experience as production MongoDB DBA; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Comprehensive knowledge of MongoDB performance & tuning, security, and diagnostic tools.

Comprehensive knowledge of MongoDB administration tools including Studio 3T, Ops Manager.

Experience creating, maintaining, and deploying MongoDB servers.

Experience with Security standards and technologies for MongoDB.

Experience with HIPAA, SOX, and/or PCI compliance.

Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment while interfacing with multiple internal clients.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Strong MongoDB environment architecture skills.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Strong JAVA Scripting skills.

Strong configuration management and automation skills.

Strong scripting experience in ksh/python/perl.

Working knowledge of TCP/IP and related protocols (HTTP, FTP, NFS, etc…)

Working knowledge of RHEL.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with OPS Manager

Experience with BMC Remedy.

Experience with Amazon Web Services.

Experience with LINUX, AIX, and IBM Power7/Power8 systems.

Experience with CyberArk.

Experience with encryption technologies.

Experience with SAP ASE, SQL Server or any other RDBMS.
