As the Labor & Employment Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable working within a team-selling environment where you will partner with Account Managers across legal and corporate verticals demonstrating product capabilities, sharing industry and product knowledge and interfacing directly with end-users and key decision makers within the client organization. Our Product Specialists are an elite team responsible for acquiring and growing relationships with new clients. We are looking for a highly motivated, over-achieving sales professional with a bias for action who flourishes in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Product Specialist, you will need to be an ambitious team player who effectively partners with internal account managers continuously seeking sales opportunities within a large geographic territory. The ideal candidate will be highly adept at reviewing and evolving a list of accounts and prospects that are both teams, as well as individually developed, working daily and weekly to build a healthy pipeline for closure. The majority of your time will be spent conducting live and virtual demonstration meetings designed to showcase our Labor & Employment solutions. The Product Specialist delivers extensive product and industry knowledge to convey value proposition, build customer confidence as well as negotiate and secure new business. The Product Specialist also lends significant product and industry knowledge to internal strategy and special projects to expand or optimize product features and marketing strategy. Coordination between internal teams is a critical skillset with a focus on reviewing account information (e.g., opportunities/interests, objections, risks, issues), developing a sales strategy which includes discussing, documenting and fully understanding client business needs and goals and then leveraging extensive product and industry knowledge to articulate product value propositions.The ideal candidate has a:
Proven track record of selling technology/SaaS solutions to enterprise clients
Understanding of selling through a consultative, insight-driven sales process
Driven to succeed in a technical organization with a growing customer base
Desire to add value throughout the sales and development process
Articulating market trends to internal teams (e.g., Product Management, Marketing)
Strong presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written skillsThis is a remote, work from home position.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing/Sales, or related discipline; OR, if no degree, 7 years of outside sales experience.Preferred: J.D. with related work experience in Labor & Employment / Workplace LawMinimum Experience: 5 years of outside sales experience, including:
Networking and prospecting
Interacting with people at all levels of an organization (including C-level executives)
Conveying value proposition to clients
Composing presentations and proposals
Negotiating and influencing business decisions
Meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Proven ability to develop and build a large territory and prioritize time
Demonstrating leadership skills
Demonstrating excellent presentation skills
Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication
Utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Utilizing Customer Relationship Management software (SFDC)
Domestic travel approximately 30% of work time (e.g., client sites, industry events).
Preferred Experience: 8-10 years of outside sales experience, including:
5 years managing an outside sales territory across multiple geographies
Performing sales to Enterprise accounts
Working in the legal industry
Experience articulating market trends to internal teams (e.g., Product Management, Marketing)
