WHAT YOU'LL DO

The BCG Data Senior Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of BCG’s HR data assets to provide the business with high-quality data that is trustworthy, secure, and easily accessible to appropriate users. This is a critical role that will help BCG to transform our HR function and the data we use to drive our business. You will collaborate with other HR teams as well IT, Finance and the BCG Enterprise Data Organization on data-related projects. In addition to ensuring the accuracy and availability of data, you will also own and develop policies, quality standards, and workflow processes under the guidance of the HR Data Owner.

You will have one direct report who will support day to day activities for data management and governance.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Ensuring adherence to global data standards, policies and guidelines and relevant application
  • Maintaining the data glossary, classification, and data quality standards of data elements across the HR ecosystem, in particular Workday
  • Maintaining metadata information according to stakeholder input
  • Guiding data quality, data security, data privacy, and data protection initiatives and monitoring relevant KPIs
  • Communicating to senior executive teams, both written and verbal

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree, preferably in mathematics, statistics, computer or data science or related fields
  • 8+ years experience working in a data management role with hands-on experience using Master Data Management and Data Governance tools
  • Passion and interest in Data Quality, with demonstrated precision and attention-to-detail in solving problems
  • Understanding of data management concepts and associated business processes and tools
  • Strong customer and business focus with demonstrated ability to form effective working relationships and resolve conflicts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proven ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions
  • Outcome focused with the ability to proactively take initiative, use good judgment to prioritize requests and be comfortable working with minimal direction.
  • Exhibits the highest level of integrity. Ability to manage and process sensitive data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Workday knowledge and proficiency a plus

  • Human Resources teams including the HR Tribe and associate Product Owners
