IT Support Specialist (Contract) - Boston, MA - $25-$35/hr

Position: IT Support Specialist - Temp to Perm (5-month initial term)

Location: Cambridge, MA

Salary: up to $35/hr DOE

A fast-growing Biotech company has an immediate requirement for an IT Support Specialist to undertake a range of exciting work including systems administration, ticket resolution through the helpdesk, desktop support and more.

The contract will run for a minimum of 5 months with a highly-likely transfer to full-time employment following this, if desired by the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities: -

Working alongside other members of the IT Team to troubleshoot and resolve any IT issues
Supporting up to 300 internal users
Upgrading and maintaining the company's infrastructure
Exciting project work lined up including system/server migration
Deskside and Service Desk support



Key Skills: -

Duties: Provides administrative support to assigned personnel; assists with various duties including spreadsheet development, payroll information and data population/tracking and facilitation. Schedules and attends meetings; maintains electronic meeting and event calendars. Uses computer software or databases to prepare reports and compile data. Conducts research. Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files. Responds to inquiries and provides information to internal and external contacts.
