An exciting and energetic Boston events company is looking for a Desk Top Support Technician. This company believes in 'experiential marketing' and hosts unique brand events for clients such as Nike, Covergirl, and Cadillac. This is a 3-6-month contract position -with the potential to be extended- that requires someone to come into the office 1-2 days a week. If you're looking for an entry level contract position at a fun company, look no further!

Looking for a junior level candidate to provide technical and end-user desktop support. You should be a solution-focused problem solver that has a demonstrated history of teamwork, customer satisfaction and communication skills. In this position you'll install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, mobile devices, servers, and network issues.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical support work experience
  • Ability to support PC and Mac
  • Experience in

    • Server, Desktop, and Laptops (Dell, HP, Apple)
    • TCP/IP
    • Cloud: Egnyte, OneDrive, G Suite
    • LAN/WAN
    • SOX Compliance (Sarbanes- Oxley Act)
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with phones and video conferencing tools (Skype, Zoom, Teams)
  • Experience with popular Internet Browsers
