The Women's Hormones and Aging Research Program and Brigham and Women's Hospital is looking for participants for a research study to examine sleep, appetite and hormones.
The study involves four outpatient visits and two inpatient visits, where you will live full time at a research facility at Brigham and Women's for 5 nights and 6 days. Study visits will be scheduled over a 2-3 month period. Women who participate will receive a hormonal medication that may cause hot flashes. Participants will have evaluations of hormone levels, hot flashes, appetite and well-being.
We are looking for women who are:
-Ages 21-45
-Not currently taking hormonal medications
-Healthy
