Job Description

THE BROAD FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:

The JDRF T1D Fund is seeking an Office ManagementAssistant to support the overall success of the Fund investment and operations teams. Reporting to the National Director, the this positionwill ensure all operational systems and processes, including financial and information technology, are at the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness. This positionis committed to operational excellence and building long-term solutions in a dynamic work environment. This role brings to the team abundant energy and proactive task management that provides meaningful impact to the Fund’s mission. Importantly, he/she thrives in a start-up environment and derives professional satisfaction working in a mission-centric organization

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND BRAND VISIBILITY

  • Partner with the senior team, and at times lead on strategic initiatives including website construction, technology enhancements, document and data storage protocols, etc.
  • Manage and assist with creation of public relations and promotional items to expand brand visibility

DONOR ENGAGEMENT

  • Create and implement meaningful donor stewardship touchpoints
  • Coordinate donor stewardship events to promote donor engagement

LOGISTICAL SUPPORT

  • Oversee comprehensive and up-to-date team files
  • Ensure all staff are prepared with materials and supplies required to successfully perform their job
  • Provide meeting scheduling support for team and committees
  • Manage day-to-day operational finances and expenditures

TECHNOLOGY PLATFORMS, DATA MANAGEMENT AND EQUIPMENT

  • Serve as system administrator of Salesforce deal tracking platform
  • Quality control data for accurate and comprehensive dashboards that inform strategic decisions
  • Partner with Client Success teams to resolve technology issues faced by members of the T1D Fund team

Qualifications

  • College degree
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills along with a high level of diplomacy, poise, discretion, and problem-solving ability
  • Initiative and intuition to anticipate needs and preempt challenge
  • Self-directed, independent, and proactive work ethic; dedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership and follow through skills
  • Proven track record of handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce a plus)
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
  • Deep understanding of and commitment to JDRF’s mission
