If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe IBM Marketing team is seeking a self-starting, innovative and enthusiastic Product Marketing manager to join our fast-growing team building the next generation multicloud marketplace platform.You will be responsible for the external positioning of our multicloud marketplace platform, inbound and outbound marketing activities, and the creation of strategic sales tools. In this role, you will develop strategic marketing plans for the multicloud marketplace platform through market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, and business planning. Working closely with key stakeholders you will craft the market facing messaging and positioning. You will conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand and sales results.In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will be the expert in buyer personas - how they buy and their buying criteria - and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel. As a champion in the market, you will help drive our value proposition and gain insights that enable you to contribute to our broader go-to-market strategy. You will be client centric, data driven and agile to the core to deliver optimal business outcomes. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. The ideal candidate would be a strong marketing athlete that’s able to quickly immerse themselves with our target audiences, craft compelling narratives that differentiate us from the competition, and deliver interesting stories through dynamic assets and channels.Primary responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

Identify and develop positioning that uniquely differentiates our next generation multicloud marketplace platform as the destination of choice for enterprise software purchases.

Create marketing collateral, whitepapers, presentations, videos, and blog posts, to communicate our value proposition to the market.

Plan and execute the marketing launch activities and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.

Work with communications, sales and marketing teams to broadcast our message to the market, across the organization, and our partner community.

Be the expert on our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to succeed.

Support the strategy and programs that create interest and drive demand across all market segments.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, webinars, on social media, and as a spokesperson for analyst and press coverage.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

5-7 years of product marketing experience in enterprise software/services.

Experience with content development (web content, sales enablement, presentations, whitepapers etc.)

Very strong writing skills essential – frequent writing is a requirement

Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization.

Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders

Experience with Agile tools & methodologies a plus

Experience working in a highly matrixed global organization a plus

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA a plus
