Position: Python Developer Apex Job ID: 1243231 Location: 100% Remote Rate: Negotiable based on experience Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Position Description:
• Work with large, complex data sets to build data driven analytical products • Build automation for Data transfer between different cloud accounts • Perform various technical aspects of software development including design, developing prototypes, and coding • Adhere to security standards and coding best practices • Continuously seek performance improvements and cost savings • Lead the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across development, integration, and production environments • Design and implement product features in collaboration with other technical teams, business and IT stakeholders • Design reusable technical frameworks, libraries and components
Required Skills:
2+ years software engineering experience
Strong analytical skills and programming skills (preferably in Scala or Python)
Expertise building automated Cloud Infrastructure with Terraform or similar
Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals: unit testing, code reviews, Agile/Scrum and DevOps
Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):
Experience in the health care industry working on Data analytics/Operations
Experience with AWS services like EMR, Glue, ECS, Lambda, Step functions
Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins and Maven
