In this role you will be vita in helping design and requirements analysis for other work that helps expand the clients cloud file storage functionality. You will also be a key member in troubleshooting customer escalations with the assistance of other teams within the company.

Our Boston based client provides a one of a kind cloud-native global file system which delivers a file services platform created for the cloud. This platform combines the performance of local file services with the scalability of a cloud storage system.

Description

  • Manage and own one of the most important components by designing and implementing new functionality while also improving on the current one.

  • Improve the performance, scalability, and stability and work closely with python software engineers in test and quality assurance.

  • Develop different products in storage, database or distributed applications using C and C.

  • Debug user-space issues using GDB or Valgrind.

Profile

  • Expert level knowledge of C, C, Python and GDB.

  • Great understanding with system architecture and object oriented design and programming.

  • Experienced in object oriented programming algorithms, data structures, and inter process communication.

  • Knowledge of networking and developing application protocols, HTTP, TCP/IP net-workings and databases.
