Reporting to the Director of Transfer Admission , the r eader will be expected to do the following in this role:
Responsible for the timely and accurate evaluation of approximately 600-800 freshman applicants, and issuing admission decisions and rankings for honors consideration or special financial aid merit programs.
Communicate with applicants and school counseling offices to complete application files.
All reading is web-based and completely remote. Outside readers are expected to commit to 12-15 hours per week. Training will be provided. Employment would begin in October 2023 and end April 1, 202 4 .
Qualification s :
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Prior experience in admission and higher education preferred. Previous experience with file review strongly considered.
Previous experience using a CRM (Slate experience a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills .
Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict, frequent deadlines .
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Must have a secure PC with access to high speed internet in a private location.
