Title: Software Engineer
Duration: 12+ Months Contract(Possible Extension)
Location: Boston, MA
Job Description:
Need a software engineer to work in the Global Asset Allocation division (GAA) of the Asset Management Group. Will be working alongside the lead on the project.
Will be developing visual (frontend) products of a new suite of products, supporting portfolio management, construction, trading, and risk oversight.

The Expertise You Have
Demonstrated ability to work with a small team to develop rapid solutions
6+ years of experience designing and implementing software solutions
Experience with R
Experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot
Experience with SQL
Experience with Python development is preferred, especially experience with Pandas and Flask (or Django)
Experience with AWS cloud environment development and deployment is preferred
Experience in Single Page Applications using modern frameworks such as Angular is preferred
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics or Advanced Mathematics; or equivalent experience
Experience working with derivatives including futures, forwards, and/or swaps is nice to have

You have proven hands-on experience developing & consuming web services using Python or Java
Capable of moving between iterative prototyping and enterprise strength application/service development
