Our client, based in Boston, is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role will be responsible for driving new capabilities and strategic changes. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in running large, complex technology initiatives in the banking industry. This position is based in Dorchester, MA and will require periodic travel to other US locations. Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects end-to-end within the program on time, on budget, and with quality as per scope. Projects are across four entities
  • Develop the project s timeline, keeping track of programs and projects
  • Ensure responsible parties deliver their assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Manage project life cycle phases, such as Initiation, Development, and Implementation, including both Tech and Business deliverables
  • Facilitate and participate in the delivery process for major project deliverables including Project Plan, Business and Functional Requirements, Analysis & Design, QA, End User Testing, and Product Management deliverables
  • Coordinate and lead virtual team resources located in multiple global locations
  • Prepare and present project updates for executive leadership

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS IT/ Computer Science, MIS, Economics, Finance, Operations Management, or a related discipline. MBA or related graduate degree a plus
  • 15+ years professional experience in top 10 USA banks or other financial institution, consulting firm, and/ or software company
  • 15+ years project management experience leading complex projects, valued at $1M or greater
  • Ability to direct and manage business partners, technology resources, subject matter experts, and all other groups involved in the end-to-end process
  • Proven ability to manage large projects in a way that reduces risk, ensures predictable results, meets or exceeds its timeline
  • Power user of office automation and project management tools including MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio
  • Knowledge of InfoSec platforms, CrowdStrike, Deep Security, Zscaler, Microsoft Defender for Identity, CyberArk, SailPoint, Varonis, Forcepoint, Splunk,, etc.
  • Expertise in project management discipline and techniques as well as leading several complex system projects
  • 5+ years experience in Information Security banking is a plus
