In this role you will create and execute on the strategic vision and direction of an operation where several claims support units have come together under one umbrella to provide a streamlined customer focused service to the GRS claims function. You will lead a team of experts who manage Quality Assurance & Compliance, Special Investigations, Loss and Recovery, claims contact centers and other claims support departments. This phenomenal role will provide you the opportunity to use your talents to engage employees, impact loss cost accuracy and connect as well as use the synergistic threads between all of the support functions to provide high quality claims handling practices.Responsibilities:

Establishes strategic and operational objectives for GRS Claims Shared Services. Develops and implements efficient and effective delivery mechanisms for all service operations.

Manage talent across the organization including selection, development, engagement and performance, including strengthening employee engagement by improving understanding of business strategies, operating objectives, and alignment across functions.

Fosters change and drives a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, simplification and operational/service excellence throughout the organization. Enhance operational processes and tools and standardize good practices across the organization.

Develop and manage budgets which are aggressive yet obtainable and tied to the overall strategy of the business unit.

Develops flexible and agile organization focused on an exceptional customer experience, employee engagement, loss cost accuracy, and consistent, quality claims handling practices.

Actively manage customer satisfaction through analysis of customer feedback, scrutiny of performance metrics and improvement of customer service systems and processes.

Develop comprehensive operational strategy and models. Explore and implement innovative cost-effective operating models while delivering superior service and quality.

Responsible for Multiple Cross Functional GRS Claims Projects; i.e. Strategic Workforce Planning, Employee Engagement Initiatives; Customer Service Initiatives, Efficiency and Scale.

Qualifications:Advanced knowledge of insurance operations, technology, business process improvement, and Claims. Ability to: collaborate with leaders to create business plans that align with organizational strategy; develop the talent pool; improve operational effectiveness; and identify, sponsor and promote change initiatives. Ability to manage large operations, create short and long-term strategic plans, and readily adapt and work well in the face of ambiguity. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) at all levels within the organization. Knowledge, skills and competencies as normally acquired through a Bachelor`s degree in Business Management, Insurance Management, Finance, Economics and 10 or more years of experience with significant management responsibility.
