Experienced BAR MANAGER Needed – Craft Cocktail Program (Boston)
New Location Live Music Creative Beverage Program
Boston-based restaurant owner seeking an experienced Bar Manager to help launch and lead a new, exciting location featuring a top-tier cocktail program, excellent food, and live music. We are looking for someone passionate, organized, and highly skilled in craft mixology and bar operations. This job will include bartending shifts with tip income.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience managing a bar program
Strong background in creative craft cocktails
A passion for delivering excellent hospitality across the bar.
Ability to build recipes, train staff, and maintain consistency
Must be a leader and mentor.
Experience with ordering, cost control, inventory, and vendor relations
Leadership skills with a focus on teamwork and positive culture
Must thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute an innovative cocktail menu
Lead bar setup for a new venue (systems, workflow, design input)
Hire, train, and mentor bartenders
Ensure high standards for hospitality, quality, and presentation
Work closely with ownership and management to shape the guest experience
Support programming related to live music and nightlife atmosphere
