Job Description
Summary: Doragon Ramen, Inc is a Japanese Ramen Shop featuring authentic noodle dishes from Japan, Thailand and Vietnam. We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual that has a passion for authentic Asian cuisine to join our team. .
Job responsibilities:
- Have a thorough understanding of all offerings at Doragon Ramen, both on menu and off
- Be present at daily briefings, keeping clear and organized notes to use in service to guests
- Assist in the preparation of stocks, appetizers and other prep for shift.
- Adhere to the Doragon Ramen safety and sanitary guidelines
- Know your sidework responsibilities and have follow through
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years experience as a restaurant prep cook/line cook preferred.
- Knowledge of the food culture from Japan, Thailand or Vietnam is a plus but not required.
- Effective time management and communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work quickly, effectively and stay focused under pressure
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Compensation:
- The job of line cook is a non-exempt, hourly position starting at $14-$17/hour.
- Daily staff meals are included.
- Gym Membership included for Full Time
Job Type: Full-time & Part-time positions available.
Location & Travel: Doragon Ramen is located in Historic Ashland Massachusetts, less than a 5 minute walk from the Ashland MBTA station on the Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail Line. Reimbursement for commuter rail fee's will be considered for the right candidates.

Salary: $14.00 to $17.00 /hour depending on skill and experience
