80 Thoreau is currently seeking entry level and hot line cooks to join our tight-knit, dedicated kitchen crew! We are a scratch kitchen focused on French technique and local ingredients. We serve dinner only, six nights a week (closed Sunday!!!). We are looking for enthusiastic team members eager to learn. Gain exposure and learn pasta making, pastry, butchery, charcuterie - meat and seafood. Some experience or culinary school is preferred for the entry level positions, but we are willing to train the right candidates. We have entry level openings for daytime prep cooks as well as dinner shifts on Garde Manger. One or two years experience in a fine-dining, scratch kitchen required for hot line positions - must be available nights, Saturdays are required.
