Seeking full-time maintenance assistant and driver.
Job consists of maintenance of buildings and grounds at several apartment complexes and commercial properties. Duties include cleaning, trash pickup, snow removal, light carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical work, roof repairs, HVAC system maintenance, appliance evaluation and repair, relocation of furniture/fixtures, apartment clean-outs, painting, landscaping and supply-runs/driving as needed.
Applicant must be able to travel to the towns of: Acton, Boston, Cambridge, Lawrence, Melrose, Woburn, Malden, Winthrop as needed.
Applicant must have:
1-4 years experience in property maintenance or construction and a basic tool set,
Their own cell phone;
The ability to regularly lift over 50 lbs;
Their own vehicle and excellent driving record,
The ability to work closely with others and to take direction as needed.
This position requires you to be on-call for emergencies after hours, evenings and weekends.
Background check including a CORI will be required.
