Summary:
Walnut Street Center is a nonprofit organization, looking for dedicated & compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities in our residential Programs located in Arlington, Cambridge and Somerville.
Street parking available and all sites are accessible by public transportation.

Responsibilities:
Provides hands on assistance to individual around Activities of Daily Living, personal care, and nutritional needs.
Provide assistance to maintain medical needs; administers medication and treatments, charts progress, attends medical appointments and serves as the liaison to medical personnel.
Participate in the development, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of ISP objectives.
Provides therapeutic support and supervision to ensure safety and well- being of individuals.
Completes other task as assigned.

Morning 9am - 3pm
Evening 3pm - 11pm
Overnight 11pm - 9am
Relief (per-diem)

Requirements:
> Valid Driver's License
> Covid-19 Vaccine Card
> High school or equivalent (preferred)
> Experience: related - 1 year (preferred)
> Ability to communicate effectively in English
> Ability to independently complete computer based training
