Job Summary:
The Office Manager enthusiastically coordinates, supervises, and manages staff, as well as the day to day office activity. They recruit interpreters and translators and provide all necessary communications to ensure smooth and professional interactions between staff members, contracted interpreters /translators, and requesting clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage staff, interns, and day to day office operations
Conduct research to find eligible interpreters and translators and contact them for possibility of adding them to the ITC roster
Assist with accounting and scheduling activities as needed
Manage and order office supplies
Manage social media pages
Assist company President with calendar organization
Organize conference attendance and materials
Address customer concerns with follow up until customer satisfaction is achieved
Identify new ways to improve office functionality and productivity
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
General office and administrative knowledge
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent organizational, communication, delegation, and customer service skills
Excellent communication skills to assess customer/personnel concerns, and address general inquiries
Possess staffing, inventory, and supply management skills
Information gathering, maintaining, updating, and reporting skills
Ability to cooperate with others, provide supervision and direction, and be a team player
Possess a solutions-oriented attitude with ability to organize and prioritize work load to meet required deadlines
Ability to self-manage, take charge, be a self-starter, be highly accountable, and have consistent follow through
Education and Experience:
AA in Business Administration or BA/BS in related field
or
2-3 years of related experience
